The rules, in plain words.

1. Who we are

Kaion is provided by Kaion Fit, owner: Mr Palesa Mattia, Pfalzburger Straße 65, 10719 Berlin, Germany (“Kaion”, “we”, “us”).

These terms apply to the Kaion app and website. By creating an account, you agree to them.

2. What Kaion is

Kaion builds a training plan around your goal, level, schedule and equipment, and adjusts it based on what you log.

Gym training is available now. Other sports are marked “coming soon” and are not part of the service until they launch.

3. Your health comes first

Kaion is a training tool, not medical advice, and it does not replace a doctor or physiotherapist.

• Check with a doctor before starting, especially if you have a health condition, an injury, or are pregnant.
• Stop any exercise that causes pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
• Tell us accurately about injuries and limitations, so your plan can work around them.
• You decide what you do in each session and how hard you push.

4. Who can use Kaion

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or guardian to buy a subscription.

Keep your login details private. You’re responsible for activity on your account.

5. Free access and subscriptions

• Free: creating your plan, and your full first week of training.
• Subscription: to keep your plan adjusting after the first week, you need a paid subscription, monthly or yearly.
• Prices: shown in the app before you buy, including VAT. Introductory offers, such as a founding rate, apply only for the period stated in the offer.
• Renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, unless you cancel.
  • A monthly subscription renews for another month.
  • A yearly subscription renews for an unlimited period after the first year, and you can then cancel it at any time with one month’s notice.
• Purchases through the App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google. Their terms apply to payment, renewal and refunds, and you manage your subscription in your store account.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time:

• on our website, using the “Cancel subscription” button;
• in the app;
• or in your App Store or Google Play account, if you subscribed there.

Your access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

7. Your right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Full details and a model form are in our Withdrawal Policy.

If you ask us to start the service right away and then withdraw, you pay only for the days you used.

8. Using Kaion fairly

Please don’t:

• share your account or resell access;
• copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the app, the plans or the exercise content;
• disrupt the service, or try to access data that isn’t yours;
• post content that is unlawful, offensive or someone else’s work.

We may suspend or close accounts that seriously break these rules. We’ll tell you why, unless the law prevents us.

9. Our content

Plans, exercise names, demo clips, designs and software belong to Kaion or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal training, for as long as you have access.

10. Changes to Kaion

We keep improving Kaion, so features may change. If a change significantly affects a paid subscription, we’ll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

11. Availability

We work to keep Kaion available at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

12. Our liability

• We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory law requires it, including product liability.
• For slight negligence, we are only liable if we breach an essential obligation, one that makes the service possible and that you rely on. In that case, our liability is limited to damage that is typical and foreseeable.
• Otherwise, we are not liable for slight negligence.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.

14. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We can end the contract with one month’s notice, or immediately for an important reason, such as a serious breach of these terms.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
